The colour is garnet-red with slight tints of tile, a sign of early ripeness.
The nose is a subtle blend of juicy red fruits such as cherry with more mature notes of raspberry liqueur. A touch of violet and the first hints of blood are added to the mix, which develop with aeration.
Supple on the palate. The tannic structure carries the tasting and reveals the fruity notes. On the finish, the acidic structure typical of the Champagne hillsides balances the wine's structure.
This cuvée can be enjoyed with light grilled meat, roast veal with herbs or Reims ham.
